I'm with Mikekoz on this one. I stayed on site for a while to get the nerveup. Took it from #2 to #1, then none. Shaved it the same day after getting to the nub. The thing is I'm almost 50 and people that know me say it makes me look younger. Those that don't are guessing 5 to 10 years younger. Lack of hair has boosted my ego!
Bluesy, Best of luck on your decision to become Sly. Welcome to the site, new members are always welcomed. This is like a faternity of great guys. They won't steer you wrong.
Welcome bluesy, you've come to the right place for support and positive encouragement. Many of us have been right where you are.
The one thing you have to realize is that you do have the power to control how you feel and think about yourself. No one but you.
Don't let the way nature is going to effect you have it's way,
you need to be the one to take control and nip it in the bud. Stand tall and proud and say "this is who I am".
You can go the shorter buzz route, or you can decide to just shave it off at once, but I guarantee you will feel like a load has been lifted. Whichever way you decide to go, give it the thirty day period to get accustomed to the new you.
Enjoy the forum, and keep us posted on your progress.
Welcome Bluesy...to the Brotherhood, I agree with both Mikekoz13 and Chaplain Mike, give trimming short a try and then when comfortable then shave it clean...this was the route that I chose...I have been shaving for 5 plus yrs. and no regrets...know that there are some of the greatest guys you will ever meet right here on this site, ready to support you when you need it.
Welcome bluesy! Grab a razor and shave those blues away...
If your lying in bed with someone with the lights out having a good conversation, do you think they are impressed by your hair?
Champ...you of all people, I cant not see you laying in bed having a conversation with someone, and a good one at that LOL
OK, I will admit most is about the next position.... but I have had a few in the past.

And bluesy, I can say from experience there are a lot of women that find bald men sexy. Some just can't seem to leave you alone, but thats another story.... its all good though!
Life's too short to waste obsessing over your hair. It seems scary in the beginning, but if you shave it off, you'll be able to put it all behind you and move on. And you'll wonder what you were so afraid of. You just have to take that leap of faith.
Hello....
I have to say,,this is the first of various topic sites Ive been to over the years, where people actually to respond and offer assistance in a big way.......

bluesy...refer to my post....words of encouragement
