i have been thinking about the city club. my feelings are this: it is a very nice club, but nothing to do but sit around and talk/drink. most of the bands are newer rock. (not able to do the '80s cover band) it is sometimes hit and miss with crowd size. or we can just hang at a smaller local bar (sports bar) where we can control music and shoot pool, play darts etc. and drinks would be cheaper. or we can do one night at each. sports bar is about ten minutes from my house. city club is about 45-an hour. i am up for either but i wanna get yall opinions. i do have ideas for sat. afternoon but we could probably cook at either. just need to know what you guys think. getting close enough that i need to make plans final. let me know your opinions guys. we could get rowdier and cut up more at sports bar but there will be more possibility of a bigger crowd (ie. WOMEN) at city club.

Hi paulie-
My wife and I are game for about anything. Maybe a mixture would be good. Personally I'm more of a Pub type guy...... beer and darts, beer and pool, beer and ....well you get the idea.
That being said... I will be with the lovely Mrs., so girlies aren't my concern.....

I just wish it would hurry and get here. I am ready to have some fun.
I have to let you all in on a little secret though. It seems as the Red and Whites are no where to be found. I can not imagine where they have went. Like the thread earlier...has your significant other ever lost anything of yours? This might fall into that catergory.....

Paulie-
Maybe you could post up the names of some decent places to stay that are right where everything will be going on. Walking distance would be nice so I can "over indulge" if I feel the need.
