It has finally happened. In the eyes of the state of Illinois I am now officially bald. I just had to apply for a new form of ID here and was surprised to see that among the hair color choices was BALD. So now on at least one ID I am officially bald. Guess I will have to keep shaving for ten more years till the card needs to be renewed.

Nice! I have to go renew my license. I found out that I DON'T have to get a new picture, but it's actually becoming a problem because I look so different from my current phone that I need to get a new one.

You would think that DMV would send you some kind of a reminder.

Just looked at my license. Magnificent bald dome is featured there in full color, but no designation for hair color.
BTW, in Massachusetts it was recently announced that they would not be mailing out reminders to renew driver's licenses in the future. Said to save about $500k per year.
A friend just discovered her license was expired when she tried to rent a car in another state.

Very cool...
but it's kinda weird they let you do it...
it's a friggin' hair (or no hair) style!
I'd be like me writing "flattop" on my license!?
Cool though..but weird....

Yeah, I renewed by driver's license last year. So pissed that "bald" was not an option for hair color.
I asked the clerk if I could have put "N/A" (that stands for not applicable, Timmay) and you'd think I was trying to commit a breach of national security. I just said "fine, blonde it is".
