If you'd like to shave in the shower but not waste so much water, try putting a tupperware (or similar) container in the shower, filling it with water from the showerhead.  I keep mine on a stool since my shower is big enough that it fits in.  Then when I am ready to shave, I turn the water off until I'm finished shaving.  I use the water in the container to rinse off my razor.  After shaving, I turn the water back on letting me rinse off.  I finish with one of those lovely  blasts of cold water on the dome.  Got the tip about the tupperware container from another member of the SBG and it works great.

But what ever suits you is what you need to do.

I'm a shower shaver myself, and it's just a whole lot easier and less mess at the sink too. Stick with the HeadBlade if you can, it only gets better with time. It's mainly a matter of getting used to the feel of it, long smooth strokes and no pressure on the blade end. There are also plenty of blade cartridge options to choose, so you can see which one works best for you. I actually alternate with my HB and now a Fusion, which I just started using. Both are good in their own right, and will give a great shave.
