Freshman in highschool, with receding hairline
« on: April 15, 2009, 07:45:29 PM »
So, here's two photos of me.... and right now that's the hair I have that works, but everyday it's falling out and it gets kind of depressing to watch. I'm 16 and freshmen (went to school late haha) and I'm thinking about just shaving my entire head, maybe it could even work! What do you think?

you cant tell at all that your losing your hair with the hair style you have. ide keep that hairstyle as long as you can before shaving your head. 16 is pretty young. wait till you lose a noticeable amount of hair to others before you shave ur head. ide wait till AT LEAST senior year to think about shaving.

yeah why not wait until you are 18 or 19..........unless the pictures fail to tell us what you see that we don't.

The good news is I think you would look really good with a shaved head.  ;)

Yeah, I don't see any hair loss in those pics.  Though, if you aren't feeling confident with your look, switch it up and give head shaving a try.

Dude..... Welcome to the Forum!

I think you're obsessing over nothing. Get on with your life, forget about your hair, and have a great time being a teenager.
Shaving your head may be for you one day, but for now just move on and enjoy life.

Alright, thanks, I'll see how it is next year, maybe in the summer if it gets too hot anyway.

Yeah I buzzed it with no guard just to see, and it seems like I have some weird lumps on my head, like the bone in the back of the head, and a really flat area at the vertex.
