Really annoyed with myself....

..... I have been following a healthy eating plan and going to the gym regularly and last night I blew it.
At bedtime (the worst time of the day to do this), I scoffed half a trifle and a shed load of chocolate. I am so angry

with myself but I couldnt resist it.

Sometimes you have to cheat a little. Don't beat yourself up over it. Just move on.

I have a friend who is a personal trainer, and he has one day a week when he can "cheat" on his diet.
I've seen him eat an entire box of oreos and half a small turkey all at once.

Sometimes it can have a good effect if you get strict right away, it can knock you off a plateau.

Don't be too hard on yourself. I am preparing for bodybuilding competition and still have a " cheat day " every week to consume a few extra calories for muscle recovery/fuel and to keep my body off guard. By doing so, it jolts your metabolism a little to keep your fires burning.

Hey man, no need to worry, cheat meals are allowed once a week. And on top of that, they are necessary if you want to keep your sanity. I give credit to those who eat clean all year round and don't lose their minds.

Yeah, I agree with everything that's been said above. It takes more than chocolate once in a while to really mess up a healthy diet.
