MOVIES WHEN YOU ARE YOUNG
« on: February 21, 2009, 04:57:37 AM »
Have you ever watch a movie that you really liked when you were younger? While you are watching it,you think to yourself(How in the hell did I ever think this was a great movie?) :-[

When I was a child I saw Song of the South.  Briar Rabbit, Briar Fox Etc.  It was released again when my son was about eight YO.
Soooo, I thought he would really enjoy it as much as I did.  He hated it and as you said, WHY!

ET, I thought my kids would enjoy it as well, well they did sorta, but not as much as we did when we were younger.  I think it all has to do with technology and stuff.  Such as we probably wouldnt enjoy the movies our parents had watched when they were younger..

We just had that experience in our house last weekend. I bought the first year of ALF on DVD remembering how great it was when I watched it back in the 80's.

The kids loved it but things have apparently changed for me...........
