• Have you ever watch a movie that you really liked when you were younger? While you are watching it,you think to yourself(How in the hell did I ever think this was a great movie?)

• When I was a child I saw Song of the South.  Briar Rabbit, Briar Fox Etc.  It was released again when my son was about eight YO.
  Soooo, I thought he would really enjoy it as much as I did.  He hated it and as you said, WHY!

• ET, I thought my kids would enjoy it as well, well they did sorta, but not as much as we did when we were younger.  I think it all has to do with technology and stuff.  Such as we probably wouldnt enjoy the movies our parents had watched when they were younger..

• We just had that experience in our house last weekend. I bought the first year of ALF on DVD remembering how great it was when I watched it back in the 80's.
  
  The kids loved it but things have apparently changed for me...........

  i JUST watched that show the other night haha. they play reruns of it on tv at like 3 in the morning lol. i forget what channel. i didnt like it though. the comedy was kinda dry.
  
  anyone remember the show "married with children"? that was a good one.
