yeah that was cool.   O0   I should do my own youtube video of my head shave.  The only problem is the audience would not be patient enough to watch it for 50 minutes.   :D

;D  No Ghost, I look 75 minutes for the first 2 months.  Since then it's been 50 minutes and it seems I can't do it faster.

how the hell does he get his head that smooth and shadowless? i take 15 minutes longer than him and i still cant get as smooth of a shave and we have about the same color and thickness of hair. (i just noticed last night that im starting to thin on my crown as well).

and does holding the razor that close really make a difference? i hold it a lot higher. i should try that. he was holding it kinda like a headblade in a way.

i guess im just pickier than you when it comes to shaving. im REALLY self conscious about my hairloss as everyone knows so when i shave i make sure i get EVERYTHING lol.

Yeah good point Ghost.  I'm confused.  How does he get it so shadowless?  You see my pic in my avatar, that was about 20 minutes after I shaved both with and against the grain and you can see my shadow.  I'm not complaining but just wondering what happened.  I used mach 3 like he does.

I think the lighting plays a big part in the lack of shadow

You are probably right.  I am going to study this video very carefully.  I will try holding my razor exactly like he does and then see what happens.    But one think I have found from my experience is that with low foam shave gels it's very difficult to take such long strokes against the grain as done in the video.
Anyone else with similar experience???

Well I guess it's time I chimed in on the topic about me lol.  It is partially the lighting, but I don't have much shadow after shaving.  Holding the razor that close is partially a comfort thing for my hand, but it does help me get a closer shave also.  Have more control of it and only have to go over a spot once to get it totally smooth.  Don't have to shave it more than once, and get less irritation that way.  It's not pushing it too hard that causes irritation for me, but going over a spot too many times.

Nice vid, but you say you only go over a spot once, but the vid you going over it between 10-15 times. You're a maniac with that razor. My head couldn't stand that many passes. I can usually get it totally smooth with one pass against that grain in most spots, some spots require many passes.

Nice vid.  That gave me the itch to run home and shave my 5 days growth.  Plus, I just got my Citizen Smooth sample in the mail.  Even more reason to go home early!
