I saw this product on the shelf in CVS about a week back. It was normally priced at $5 but was on clearance for $2.50 so I figured I'd give it a try.
Here's my review after a week of shaves:
Packaging:
The product comes in a triangular shaped stiff plastic "tube". It has a screw on lid that takes only about a single turn to engage/disengage.
So why all the talk of packaging? Well the packaging is very cool looking and unique but it is also the biggest problem with this product. Since the gel is thick and the tube is stiff plastic, the gel can be difficult to get out of the tube. Not when the tube is full but
after you've used some of the product and the tube is getting more and more empty. I noticed that you have to give it a good shake with the mouth of the tube down and then squeeze the damn thing pretty hard to get the product out.
I imagine by the time i'm down to about a 1/4 of the tube it will be very hard to get out of the tube.......we'll see.

Scent:
I love the scent of this stuff. It's a light peppermint scent. I'm not a big peppermint scent fan but this stuff has a mild scent that is very pleasant. My wife commented that it smelled great.

Slickness:
Well since it's a gel I expecteed some pretty good slickness....only to be mildly disappointed. Not the slickest stuff but if you let it sit on your face/scalp for a minute or so it's not too bad. It's a gel so not really any lather here either.

Shave Closeness:
Since the product isn't overly slick, I didn't expect a very good shave. But I was pleasantly surprised. I got a great shave with this product and my head felt great after shaving. I suspect that the peppermint oil used in this product halps soften the hairs and scalp.

Overall Impression and comments:
I think this is a good product....especially for the price that I paid for it. I hate the packaging though and think that it could be repackaged in a more friendly tube and be a better product.
I can't believe the great shave that I get with this stuff every time I use it and how great my head feels after shaving.
Packaging aside, I would highly recommend this product.
If I put my packaging score to the side.... this product averages out to a nice solid 8 of 10.
