Hello everyone. I'm Erdem from Turkey. It is great to be here with you sly bold friends

. 6 days ago I've had my 40 cms long hair cut to bold. But unfortunately I couldn't get the result I've expected. The roots of the hair were still seen as a greenish tint on my head even though my barber cut it with a straight razor. 2 days later I tried using the Mach3 Turbo (againt the grain) and Phillishave cool skin on my head but I'm stiil not satisfied as I coulndn't acquire the Hitman-like

shiny bold head. What would you dear friends recommend me to do? Thank you..
i have the same problem. its impossible to get it completely bald without a tint unless you get laser surgery. its called a shadow. i hate it as well but theres nothin you can do about it. whys it green if you dont mind me askin? lol. it should look like a grey.
First let me welcome you Erdem. I believe you are our first member from Turkey. As Ghost said it is impossible to get a completely bald look if you have a full head of dark hair. Since you just cut and shaved getting some sun and a tan on your newly shaved head can make the shadow less noticable. As for getting a good shine, I am not sure what products you have over there. Any light application of a light baby oil would help if you don't have products like Aloe Vera gel or some of the other products we mention on here.
Thank you for your answers. I'll try having it cut with a straight razor several times instead of Mach 3 turbo or others, and share the results with you. And as soon as I handle the customs affairs I'll order a Headblade from the US. Because unfortunately it is not available over here. And I think I need some hair loss
Welcome to the group. I use Witch Hazel lotion.
Thank you all for your welcomes..
Luckily one mate here in Ankara brought some headblades (sport) from the US and sells them for 7 dollars. I ordered it and now I'm waitin for it to arrive
hey erdem: welcome 2 the sly fraternity. glad that ya joined us. we hope that U become an active member of the best forum on the internet. we have a lot of head shavers here that use the headblade. keep us posted on your review on the headblade.

Welcome to SBG's Erdem, good to have you join in.
Your shadow should become less noticeable once you get some color from being in the sun, but do it gradually. It only looks green because your skin was just exposed and is very pale. In time it will lessen.
Also, if you shave everyday you will allow the skin to get used to the blade.
When you do try your new HeadBlade for the first time, follow the instructions given and remember to go slow, no pressure on the blade end.
For a great shiny dome, maybe your friend can get hold of HeadLube Glossy as well, this gives one of the best shines.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
A big Scottish welcome Erdem
Dear friends I finally had a chance to try the headblade. But frankly I must admit that, it was the worst shaving experience I've ever had

. All over my dome was covered with red dots of blood and the pain (felt like a sort of burning) wasn't over for the whole day. Despite all the harm and pain half of the hair was still left there so I went over with the good old mach 3. But all in all I still think it was my awkwardness and I need to try it for sometime and get accustomed to it. I'll keep on sharing my experiences. Best wishes...

Erdem
