Hey guys,As you know I am doing graduate studies in economics. I obtained a 4 year bachelor's degree in pure mathematics & a minor in economics. My long-term goal is to be a high school teacher so that I can get the fullmonths of July & August off work. It's not that I'm a lazy guy but I really want a job that will give me time to enjoy with my (unborn) children. I really want to become a father some day because I think it will be the best thing to happen to me. After one of my classes today I was talking to a classmate, and she said for most people 2 weeks off is enough time and that they get bored so they want to go back to work. I really haven't worked full-time in the past, except in undergraduate studies I was a teaching assistant. So, I ask you, how much time off does your boss let you have? Are you happy with that amount? And if you can answer this one it would be even better: Do you get to spend enough time with your children, if you have any? Thanks.
...I can't think of a better career for someone with kids than a teacher or professor. You are home with them for all their time off.
