How do you clean your head and face?

Over the years when talking to bald guys all over the world, most told me they use eaither soap or whatever shampoo is in the shower to clean their head and face. As you know soap dries out the skin and most shampoos are designed to clean hair (be it oily, dry, color treated or full of dandruff). We created Bald Guyz Daily Wash & Shampoo as a gentle way to clean the sensitive skin of the head and face without drying it as well as providing a proper moisture balance. What do you use?

I have a surplus of oil on my face and scalp and have dealt w/ acne all my post pubescent years--hence I use Cuticura, an anti-acne soap that removes oil and aids in the control of bacteria. It has been successful for more years than I care to count and I recommend it to anyone with acne prone skin-as well as exfoliating with a loofa pad to "dig" deep into pores and follicles to remove oil and dead skin. Works for me. And as Lucille Ball said when she was asked why she never changed the format of her numerous TV sit coms, "Don't f_ck with success!"

While I generally have oily skin, the severe cold and low humidity of the Upper Midwest winters can play havoc on my skin. I have been using the Bald Guyz Daily Wash and it has really kept my skin from unnecessary dryness during this particularly brutal winter we have been having. I add an exfoliator once a week to it and the old dome looks awesome.

Hey HBG, I have been using the Bald Guyz wash & shampoo for the past 2 months.
I find it very helpful because it tends to provide some moisture for my head when it's dry, and it does a great job at getting rid of excess oils..........but I missed something, I didn't know you could use it for your face.
I will try that starting tomorrow. For my face I use bar soap but don't like it.

I wash my head with Gillette Shampoo + Body Wash. I figure that's a good combo for a bald guy with a beard. If I can find the Bald Guyz stuff, I'll totally give it a shot, though.

I use the Gillette body wash for oily skin. i used to hate body wash because with my Exxon-Valdez skin type, i felt greasy and nasty. But that one does the trick. I really like the Bald Guys head wipes, but my local CVS has them, then doesnt have them, then they are sold out.....
i guess thats the price of succes. haha. Great stuff HBG!

I can get the Ultimate shave gel, Head wipes and sunscreen at my local Fry's supermarket, but they don't carry the Daily wash.
I'll have to order it online, it sounds like good stuff. I like the idea of one product doing both things at once. Makes it that much easier and quicker.

Cam,
Shave Gel is available at Kroger and soon to be Walgreens and CVS. Wash and Shampoo is a bit tougher. If you order on line with the SBG discount, I will make sure that you are taken care of the right way.

Does anybody use an abrasive scrub to cleanse the pores? Any experimented a "mask". I have seen several that are both moisturizing and deep cleansing. what are your thoughts? Comments?

ive always taken a shower right after i shave my head but theres times where i would rather just shave and take a shower later but the thing is my heads all slimy and greasy feeling after shaving, is there something i can put on my head directly after shaving to kind of dry it out and take care of this problem until i get around to showering later? i was thinking of just washing my head afterwords with a bar of soap. would that do the trick?
