Over the top fans?
« on: January 29, 2009, 08:43:01 AM »
You guys know anyone that takes being a sports fan WAAAAYYYYY to serious? we have this guy that works with us that does this. he puts stuff for his team all over everything, but gets pissed off if someone puts up something for the team they like. i find it very amusing. but at the same time it drives me crazy cause he thinks everyone should like his team. anyone else have people like this?

There's always one..........

I live in Steelers country and I find that more than a few Steelers fans act like this............

I have a cousin like that.  If he see's someone he knows and they have something on their car or what ever of a team that he doesnt root for, he will either a) take it off  or b) put a sticker or something over it.  I told him that is damage to personal property and he doesnt seem to care.  Im like well I care, it isnt your place to do that.  I told him that there are many people who doesnt like HIM so shoudl we all STICK A STICKER ON HIS FACE ??  He got pissed off and walked away

Well, it is the home team--his, your and my tax dollars support them too because the A__hole owner seems to have the State by the short ones.  But, even the home team has to be hospitable.  He should lighten up.

you havent seen over the top fans until youve been to a cleveland browns game. they're own fans fight with themselves. physically. every browns game ive been too, fans are getting thrown for getting drunk and getting into it.
