In our area, there is a local "tribute" band that has the Jimmy Buffet act down pretty well.  When they play the Centerville band shell on a Sunday evening, they draw a pretty good crowd.  They call themselves "Parrots of the Caribbean".  The only thing I found disappointing about their show is that they didn't do "Changes in Latitude"...

Where's the Schroman?  I know he's a big fan.

And what about you Koz?   >:D

Uh yeah.... SCHRO's comments and mine back and forth about Buffett are almost legendary (in my feeble mind) on this Forum.

SCHRO loves Buffett while I can't find it in my soul to like a singer that sings poorly written songs, played to poorly written music, and performed by a guy whose first name should be changed to "Alll You Can Eat"........

Man, Koz is one truly unrefined sombitch!  :*))

Yeah, I love JB's music (I know BaldRob is actually a bigger parrothead than I am). Then again, I have many performers I love including Metallica, The Rippingtons, Kenny Chesney, Nickelback, Terri Hendrix, and Disturbed.

But when it comes to popping in a CD for just chillin' out, Buffett is hard to beat (Rippingtons are a close second for Team Schro).
