Ghost...bro.. dont let it get you down.  I would have walked up to them and said something like...well the few who say ewwwwwwwwwwww have changed that to a WOOWWWWWWWWWWWW after they rubbed on it a few times lol.No but seriously bro, you hit it right on target when you said they were H.Schoolers.  They are still growing and maturing, let it slide.  You will get past this I promise.  We have all experienced it and now, I hardly ever hear a negative comment, I promise.

Teenage girls have a well-deserved reputation for being obnoxious.   You've just run into one of those people.  On the bright side, the girl she was with didn't have the same reaction.  And anyway, now that you're out of high school, the opinions of t hose who are still there shouldn't count for squat anyway.  You've got bigger fish to fry. ;)

all i know is i wish i had your confidence warhawk lol. my buddies the same way. (no offense to him) but hes not attractive, hes balding, and hes chubby, but he walks around with such a swagger its remarkable. he flirts with EVERY girl, talks to EVERYONE, gets some hot g/fs, and has TONS of friends. and the thing is he knows hes not that attractive cuz he always says "he has a lot of confidence for how he looks". then i always feel dumb when im with him cuz im so busy feelin sorry for my hairloss i cant even talk to a lady lol.

i envy that.

GHOST-

Part of life is about seizing opportunities when they present themselves. By getting mad at the ignorant girls' comment, you missed a great opportunity.
Let's say you did not get mad.............. You could have gone over to them, politely asked the girl that thought you were cute if you could join them, and then sat down and chatted her up.
Instead you mised the opportunity because you only saw the negative in the situation.

There are rude people everywhere my friend........ignoring them is usually the best thing to do.

Grasp the opportunities my friend. The glass is indeed half full.

Teenage girls especially have a habit of opening their mouth before they think about what they are saying. (Trust me on this..I have a teenage daughter) Don't let what one person said get you down. I know how it can be though. Yesterday at the end of Obama's inaguration, Rev. Lowery made a closing commment that I found very offensive against my race. ("The white will embrace what is right") Man I STEWED on that one all day and last night.  But I realize that even though he was wrong in what he said he will probably never know how angry I was about his statement. So I got up this morning and decided to the best of my ability not to put any more energy toward an ignorant comment like that. Yes, people will sometimes say dumb things but as I was reminded in myself, they can only hurt you....if YOU give them permission.
Our country demands all our strength, all our energies. To resist the powerful combination now forming against us will require every man at his place. If victorious we will have everything to hope for in the future. If defeated, nothing will be left for us to live for.

Amen Hammer!!  I believe that the teenagers are not taught proper manners by their parents.  If I were ever caught (as a child) making remarks as to one's appearence, Lord help me.  Recently I was asked by a family member why I never voiced and opinion to which I replied "I do have opinions about people, but they are mine and they really don't mean a damn to anyone else". It's a shame the rest of the world can't follow suit.

Having raised two girls I can only support what the other brothers say.  From age 11 to 20 they're b_tches, just b_tches.  Happens to all of them, then around 20 they become human again.  And, I guess there is something like that concerning men, I just haven't seen it.  Ghost, you're going to have a good life, you're very young and have all the time in the world to meet wonderful people and you will meet girls, lots of them, that are going to like you, like you a lot.
Although we older baldies can regret the passage of time, the type of times you're going through I don't miss at all--and we've all had those too.  That is one consolation of getting old.

Don't sweat it, Ghost.

The expression of opinions falls under the catagory of "Manners, or Lack Thereof."  Loudmouth's lack of them (manners) surfaced when she gave her opinion to her friend a bit too loudly.  But whether you heard her or not, that was her opinion, and she's entitled to have one.

Rude, inconsiderate, uncivil, thoughtless types are all over the place in this world.  Their opinion, and lack of manners in giving it, unsolicited, hold no sway over me because I don't have any personal regard for them in the first place.  My obligation (manners) is to be civil to them, not to relish their opinions.

Personal taste and style vary from person to person.  Hearing someone spout an opinion that indicates bald is undesireable takes nothing away from you.  It's their opinion, even if they are too gauche to keep it to themselves.  Take the high road, based on the cool dude that you are.

The point is, your happiness and contentment do not hinge on that girl's opinion......unless you choose to hang your happiness on the opinions of complete strangers.  Buck up, mate.  You're a fine lookin' bald man.  Don't let perfect strangers ruin your day.

Hang in there!

First off, remember that the one girl thought you were cute! Now let me share something with you. When I young I use always worry about what people thought about me. I use to get upset when people did not like me or said something about me I didn`t like. Then one day I just woke up and said F`it! No matter what I do ,there will always be someone who doesn`t like me. From that day on ,I could give a crap about what other people think about me and if you ever see me on the street. You would see it in the way I carry myself. I wear what I like and do things that I find fun and F anyone who doesn`t like it.
Don`t sweat the small stuff.<a href="http://www.imagechef.com/" target="_blank">

My two (words|cents) on less than ideal situations:

Fug/Frack/Frell him/her/them/it.

Whatever the situation is/was it is probably not worth the time and effort to dwell on it.

HS kids have a totally different point of view than adults do. I remember jumping off a moving bus in HS and looking at the bus driver freak out in his mirror before leaping. I wouldn't do that now. Kids are just in a different mindset.

Anyway that's why I shave my hair all off so no one says that I'm balding. Hey I'm completely bald and that's the way I likes it.
