last night i used it for the 6th time and ive made my mind up that its not for me. these are the reasons why........
-after the last time that i cut myself badly with it, i get all nervous when i use it so i find myself holding my breath the whole time im using it on my head as well as being EXTREMELY fragile with it on my head, therefore not getting a smooth shave AT ALL.
-the blades are a pain in the ass to change. i still havent figured out the "proper" way of changing them. i kinda just pry the blade of with a pencil so i dont slice my finger with the razor blade.
-its really only useful for the top and back of the head anyways. the sides arent even worth using the headblade.
last night i noticed that after shaving my head with the headblade i had a darker than normal shadow so i ran my hand over my head and it felt grainy, so i took my mach 3 and went over my head again and to my surprise i literally took a whole nother 3 shades of the shadow off my head and got a smooth as butter shave.
so i guess i took advantage of my mach 3. it does a better job than i thought.

Bottom line is you gotta do what works right for you. For me I use a Mach3 for the face and HB for the head. But considering the cost of blades I probably am going to go all the way with the Mach3 to save money. Tried shaving my face with the HB but to me it just dosen't do the job the other one does.

I understand just how you feel.I tried hb before and got one of the worse cuts I ever had from shaving.I get a great shave with my fusion. It`s not worth it for me to change my shaving style just to use the hb.

I hear what you are saying. It didn't work for me either. But it doesn't matter what you use. What ever keeps you smooth.

I very much agree that you should use what works best for you. For all those HeadBladers who wish they could use HeadBlade blades on their face, drop me a note. We have a travel FaceBlade in production and I'd like to send out some production samples to some of the Sly Guys..."toddg@headblade.com"

glad you switched lol like i say LONG LIVE THE MACH 3!!!!!!! but yea i used the headblade and couldnt stand it and i got the worst cut of my life i used it 3 more times and i would still have to do touch ups with my mach 3 like the sides so yea i threw it away and stuck with what works for me and thats the Mach 3... so best of luck to you with your mach 3

Well it is going to take more than 6 times to get use to it... but to each there own It all comes down to what makes you happy in the end.
