With the brutal cold snap going on I tried something today with my knit cap. I ironed it right before I went outside today. It was nice and warm.
Just a tip....

Good idea! But I bet the warm didn't last long.
The heat from my head kept it warm after that.
Why not just put on radiator? Save getting the iron out
I don't have a radiator. Central heat here. Same principle applies though.
why not just sit on it while you are checking your emails before you leave for work

? LOL
7:51 AM here in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Temperature is 19 Degrees..Wind Chill 9 Degrees. Something is WAYYYYY wrong with that picture..LOL. So I'm going to get my suncreen, swim shorts, sit and meditate and imagine its August and 95 degrees .....Nahhhh instead just another HOT cup of coffee
Wow Hammer, its warmer here. Today I woke up to a balmy 26 degrees, snow flurries. The last two days have been brutal though..
I kinda think its funny. We had days with below 0 temps for awhile, non-stop snow, and everyone was getting cabin fever. Now we have above freezing highs and everyone else is freezing.
Normally what I do to stay warm is I put my clothes in the dryer the night before then when I wake up in the morning I run and turn on the dryer for a few minutes and grab my clothes out of it while they are still hot and then go out and do chores and warm the truck up before work.
