So the other day at work one of my co-workers said "here comes lex luther" ..this made a couple of my coworkers
chuckle...I took it in stride but I would imagine that it was some kind of insult ?
The guy who said it is 75% bald himself.....so I think I said something back but not too biting.
I clearly dont look anything like Lex Luther but I guess its a relatively popular sly guy.
I dunno...should I be insulted ?

If they're talking about the Michael Rosenbaum version, then it's definitely a compliment. If it's the Gene Hackman version, that ain't as good.

Gotta agree with Razor, DJ. Rosenbaum rocks the look and is a good actor. I'd take it as a compliment. And if the guy keeps it up you might want to subtley remind him that Lex was an EVIL GENIUS

Well I dont think Hackman was sly...so its either the Kevin Spacey or Michael Rosenbaum version..and either one of those dudes look cool to me.
Thinking about it...I tend to think its just a playful jab. And I say jab because I still do think there are many folks
who still consider shaving your head to be a little weird....even if they have a toilet seat head of a hairdo themselves.

I'd probably take a "Lex Luthor" comment as a compliment.
The other day I'm hangin out with my ex-wife (technically still my wife) and were watching the end of Hitman. She said he doesn't look mean enough and said I would've been better at that role. So I said "awwww! Honey. See!? How many other people know that I actually WANT to look like a cold blooded assassin. Thank you so much!".
Cold blooded assassin... Evil nemesis to Superman ... It's all good by me.
If someone says that to you again say "Nice! I guess that makes you Otis!" and then laugh. Laugh hard.

Actually, the only name that I can think of that would not be a compliment is Uncle Fester. All the other completely bald icons -- Lex Luthor, Yul, Telly, Mr. Clean -- look really good.

I would take it as a compliment. Luthor is the sh*t. I really hate being called Kojack though. Not because I hate Kojack or anything, mostly because it's so cliche.

I'm with Cam on this one. Lex Luther is a powerful villian, and badass.
I think some non-slys just think all sly people look the same.
There are huge differences in facial features (facial hair) and head shape and skin tone.
Do you think anyone at the shooting of Die Hard 4, said to Bruce Willis, "Hey Moby, hey guys, look it's moby!"
The people who make the obvious joke/comment, just say it because they are not clever enough to say something original.

I think that most of the guys who make these comments would really love to shave their own heads but are afraid to try.
