One of the nurses here said I should wear a hat because it was so cold. She said you loose 40% of your body heat through your head. I told her, yes I know but I also look 40% younger with my gray hair shaved off!

I get so tired of everybody telling me to wear a hat in the wintertime. My mother even called me at work today and asked if I'd worn a hat.

I told her I did. It's going to be in the teens here tomorrow, so I'll probably break down and wear one for the first time this year.

I brought one to work with me tonight. I have a couple of knit caps, are they called beanies?
Anyway, I RARELY wear hats of any kind, but at 14 degrees I'm considering it. The last time I wore one was in February when I went to Milwaukee. Temp was-5.

I've been bringing one with me for the past week or so. Just haven't put it on yet.

I hate hats.

I used to wear ball caps, but now that I'm sly nothing fits right. Except for my knit cap.

Knit caps keep sliding off. You need some stubble to hold them in place.

Oh damn - I must be the senior cit. 67.25 and counting (I'm another engineer. Iwas thinking of putting it in hexadecimal but that was just too hard). Of course since becoming sly I only look 15 and feel even less! And, that's on a bad day!
