First off, welcome aboard.  It is great to have you join us.  As these ingrown hairs and bumps might be a result of your shaving routine, it would help if you shared yours with us.  What are you doing pre-shave?  Do you use an exfoliator? Shower or sink shaver?  Do you use a cold water rinse after shaving to close the pores?  Have you tried the product ClearHead from the HeadBlade people?  Let the members know and I am sure you will get plenty of suggestions.

I think the problem here is your shaving method.  First off the body wash.  They are horrendous to the sensitive skin on your face and head.  Really dries out skin.  Not to sound like a salesman, but I use, and highly recommend Aveeno products.  They are fragrance-free, hypoallergenic, noncomedogenic (won't clog pores) and soap-free.

Here's my routine for shaving both my face and head.
  • Wash face and head with Aveeno Ultra-Calming Foaming Cleanser and luke warm water using fingers only to gently massage face and scalp. Rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Squirt Aveeno Therapeutic Shave Gel into hands. Rub together until lathery and warm.  Gently massage into the scalp and face. Wait about 2 minutes. Shave gently WITH the grain. Going against the grain can cause alot of irritation and razor bumps
  • When finished shaving, rinse lather off with warm water, then switch to cold. Let the cold water run over your face and head for atleast 20 seconds to one minute.
  • Use a towel to dab dry (not rub) your head and face until just slightly damp.  Apply several drops of Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 and gently rub into the skin (I keep mine refrigerated, really helps to sooth the skin)

Until I found those Aveeno products I hated shaving, now I have never had a better shave.  Highly recommend.
