And with that statement everyone suddenly becomes divorced and single. Just curious MB, but what is your take on us "yanks". I have such a thing for gals with an English accent
I'm a sucker for an american accent, I melt!!

Yep...we don't get "glad", "happy", or "excited"....... we get "stoked, man"
When I got my first set of wheels...I was WAY STOKED, MAN!.....it was definitely gnarly, dude
(I may live in Denver....but I grew up in So. Calif.

Yes, for example...
NorCal = That's hella cool, dude!
SoCal = That's killer, dude!
Then if you bring in someone from Hawaii that's made it to the mainland.
Hawaii = That's aight, brau!

Speaking of accents - pun intended...LOL
I'm told by my clients that I either have a very thick southern accent or I sound like the turtle from Finding Nemo. So, basically I sound like a cowboy or surfer depending on who you talk to.

Those aren't accents, those are colloquialisms. But point taken.

Not really any accents here in Florida, but some people do talk more "gangsta" than others...then there's always the rednecks, guess they would be the exceptions.
