This week's circular for Walgreen's advertises something called the no! no! hair removal system, a compact home laser hair removal system. Just imagine having a completely shadow free noggin'. Very tempting.

More crap, more BS. Why don't you try it Roger, if you're so keen on a hair free noggin'?
Put your money where your mouth is.

The No! No! gizmo is back in the news with a second generation version, the No! No! 8800 Series Deluxe Hair removal system.
It's today's TSP on HSN.
http://beauty.hsn.com/no-no-8800-series-deluxe-professional-hair-removal-kit_p-5736920_xp.aspxApparently the one advertised in January was safe only for the neck down. This new and improved version with the additional upgrade kit, can be used both for regions both North and South. Ironically the sales rep on HSN promoting the device is a SLY guy. Which makes me question if he's actually used the device on his own head.

Hey guys, I saw this thread, and thought I would let you know I ordered this for my wife. However, I told her I had to try it on my head. In order to stay slick I have to shave twice a day. It gets to be a pain. As she says I am obsessed with being slick. When I try it I will post here with the results, and probably start a new thread on it.
Good to find the forum, and nice meeting you all,
Bandit

I clicked on Rodger's link and read some of the reviews......of the 5 on the first page all 5 were negative. The comments ranged from not doing much as far as hair removal was concerned up to somebody who wrote in that the thing burned the skin and someone else who said that it made them break out. One person took out an extended warranty and tried to get their money back and was basically told to go hump!!!
Seems like a good one to avoid.

A razor is still the cheapest, quickest, easiest, least painful & effective method.

Don't think so - - -we all have the shadow and horseshoe if we let it go to long - -I go more than two days and the horseshoe is right around my head

Well I have an update. I did get it for my wife, and It's here now. She loves it so far. I tried it yesterday on my head. On the highest level, no burn to my head. I didn't think my hair was long enough, but tried it any way. The instructions say to still shave for the first few treatments. Then you should be able to just use the machine. I will say that, once I shaved, it was the smoothest it has ever been. Also, it has already let me go substantially longer without shaving. Tomorrow I will try again. So far very pleased.
More updates to follow.
