Stubble
« on: December 14, 2008, 07:47:35 PM »
Well guys, I have been sick the last few days.  Because of that, I have not shaved the bean until now.  So I had the most stubble that I have had for awhile.  I am wondering, is it normal to cut or nick yourself after having stubble?  I had put new blades in my HeadBlade and soaked my head in the shower quite a bit and put a liberal amount of HeadSlick.  Anyway, while I am at it, I took some pics of my stubble.  In it you can notice some of the horseshoe beginning.  But I believe that I have uneven balding going on as I see the scalp more clearly on one side compared to the other.  Anyone else have this?

With Bald Guyz shave gel and Mach 3 I never get any cuts or nicks.   If I leave a few days in between it actually
becomes more fun to shave.   Maybe Headblade is what does all these unnecessary cuts, because with Mach 3 and bald guyz shave gel it's impossible for me to cut myself.....by the way that's from a guy who's not good at shaving.

I usually get a better shave if I have a bit of stubble

It doesn't look uneven to me, but it's kind of hard to say for sure from the photos.  Maybe you can see more scalp on one side because that side is getting a closer shave?  I tend to get a closer shave on the right side of my head than I do on the left.  I'm right handed, and shaving the right side of the head is just more comfortable.  I have to hold the razor at a completely different angle to do the left side and that results in a slightly less close shave.

Don't worry about the unevenness.  Nobody will ever notice.

The pics were taken before I shaved off the stubble.  I am not worried about it being uneven.  It was more of an observation in terms of how my balding pattern is going.  The other thing I have noticed, even before I started to shave my head, is the hair along the side of my head, above the sideburns, is quite thin.  In fact, it is kind of that fine hair that can hardly grow.  So when I had hair, my beard was beginning to not connect up to the head hair.  Anyone ever experience this?
