Where can I donate used video game systems?

I would like to make a child smile on Christmas.  Do you guys know where I can donate used video games?  I thought Goodwill or Salvation Army would take these items but I don't think they do... (I could be mistaken though).

I'd also post something on craigslist, inquiring about places to donate or people in need.
I prefer to donate directly to the source without a third party dealing with it.  Nothing's better than being able to directly give something to a family memeber, friend, or stranger.  And with the current economic situation, you don't have to look far to find someone in need.
