UFO's

Well, I am watching my favorite televison station right now which is the History Channel (on HD of course) and they have a documentary on about UFO's .

So tell me....how many of you guys believe in UFO's and have you ever seen one or know of someone who claims they have?

I have a friend who was out coon hunting one night with another friend of mine and they both claim they had one hover over them while going through a corn field. It scared them so bad they laid down in the corn field until they could no longer see it and then ran back to their truck. I guess whatever it was hovering over them was at tree top level.

Just curious if anyone else has any stories??

The "jury is still out" with me on this one though I remember when I was around 8 years old seeing an object making erratic moves in the sky that no way could have been made by an aircraft. I think it would be pretty arrogant of humans to think we are the only ones in the universe. So I definately think the possibility is very, very strong. Also, I
if you read the first few chapters of Ezekial in the Old Testament he gives an account of what may be described as a UFO.

Similar to ghosts, hauntings, bigfoot and what not....I think there's SOMETHING to it.  There are too many reports by sober, mature, intelligent, sound-of-mind folks.

Now I wasn't necessarily "mature" at this time, but I saw something REALLY strange when I was in like 4th or 5th grade (so that would be back in like '71 or '72).  A group of us kids--maybe 4 or 5 of us--were at a night time event at our school.  We were walking across the playground to get to the gym where the "event" was and it was DARK, man.  And something BIG, BRIGHT and FAST came out of the distance in front of us and darted over our heads at about tree-top height.  When we spun around, it disappeared into the distance just as fast as it appeared.   The thing is it didn't make a sound      This thing didn't hover neither....if I could compare it to anything it was going like as fast as a fighter jet but a fighter jet at that low a flight would have busted our ear drums.

We just sorta stood there and looked at each other.  We didn't know much--if anything--about UFO's.  So we were just like, "What the....?" and that was it.   I don't recall us running into the gym and really even telling anyone.

Never seen one, but I do believe there MUST be something out there other than us.  Nothing in nature is made once only, though there might be slight changes.  My mind is open until I see it for myself!

Yes I believe. I'm not arrogant enough to think we are the only intelligent beings in the entire universe and beyond.

And NO I'm not calling anyone that doesn't believe arrogant........

One time this weird thing came over my house, and it obviously was a UFO of some sort.  This girl was standing in the driveway with me and was really freaked out.  I turned to her and said, "don't worry, it's not real.  This is just my dream."

Yeah, I was asleep and dreaming.

I had that happen another time.  I was at school and having a really bad day.  I said, "wouldn't it be great if today wasn't real?" So I pinched myself and couldn't feel it.  I realized it was a dream, and blew off the rest of the day at school (and had lots of fun).

I believe we just can't be the only life "out there."  Not sure if I believe all the past stories of "UFO's" flying all around.  If anything I believe those things people saw were more than likely government devices they were testing or something along those lines.  But yeah, I believe their are other beings out there somewhere.  Just look at how huge space is.  I mean there are other solar systems out there in our galaxy we can't even see.  I mean, the nine planets that are in our solar system isn't the only ones out there.  I was reading something a while back that scientists have discovered AT LEAST 70 other solar systems out in our galaxy.  But they say there can be waaay more.  That's just what they have found.  So, in my opinion anyway, to think that other life isn't out there with all those other planets that are in all those other solar systems is crazy.

Let me reword what I said before.  I don't mean by any means any of my Sly Bros are "crazy."  Maybe that statement came out wrong.  Just saying that I think as big as "space" is, there's got to be some other life form out there.

I believe to a degree. But I won't believe anything without some kind of evidence, I certainly believe that what other people experience is real however.
