Andis T Liner On Your Head

Has anyone ever done this? I'm looking to get one for my face, and was wondering if it can be used on the head. How close does it get? Obviously not like a razor, but is it closer than a regular pair of clippers with no guard? Any info would be appreciated.

I have one that I use when I can't shave for breakout reasons. It gets pretty close. I'd say it leaves me with about 1 1/2 days growth. Here are some pics to compare.
