Hey guys,
Sure a few of you are busy with elections tonight, but while i'm sitting here watching the progression on the news (in England) at now gone midnight, and holding my own debate as to taking the final step to slyness, I was rubbing the top of my now grade 1 buzzed head, and can feel a few bumps (my skull) in various places and was just curious if these 'bumps' feel a lot worse to the touch than they may appear visually when sly??? My Mother, bless her, has always contended that i had a very 'odd' shaped head as a kid, and it leaves me pondering how 'odd' it may be when sly.
I wouldn't sweat it...when ever (and not often) I get stubbly for a day or two, I swear I have a bumpy/ scabby head...and not true..
just feels that way..
and ya know you'll never know till you shave it smooth anyways..
you'll have a buzzcut back in 3 days anyways bro!
Hey I say go for it. Not just because that seems the most logical thing to say....i say it because of like Andre...it will grow back to a stubble in just a few days. Kinda like a new food, you wont know if you liek it if you dont try. I think from the pic anyways...you have a good shaped head. Just give it a go, bro.
Timmay
I agree with the other guys, just do it bro and try it....I don't think you'll be disappointed....!!

I've said it before on this forum: The "odd shaped head" fear is one of the biggest myths, and barriers, to men shaving their heads. I have not seen one picture of any SBG member and thought, "Wow, they really shouldn't have shaved their head." And looking at your picture, I can tell you'll look fine. All heads are essentially shaped the same. Hair, on the other hand, is not. If you don't like your hair, like I didn't, get rid of it! You'll be amazed by the number of compliments you get on your new look.
I've seen a few heads that I don't think should be shaved. Can't think of any names but some guys with wrinkly heads look like sharpei dogs.

Yup..you see a ton of that in So. Cal..
the Hispanic bro's that love their BBC bald heads or their shaved high and tights....
just goes to show dudes choose the bald look over the imperfections of their heads..
some dudes just gotta be SLY

!
I just made a post in the " great head shape debate"... but you should go for it... it doesn't matter what your head is shaped like... its you... any other head shape wouldn't be you...
so shave it and if you don't like it, it grows back in a few days
Hey, mate. I used to be a bouncer, and while working one night I got hit over the back of the head with a metal bar. As a result, I had a nicely fractured skull, and you can now see a dent in the back of my head!
I reckon if anything the bumps add character.

True: So let me rephrase: I don't think the SHAPE of a man's head should be a barrier to going bald. We all essentially have a sphere for a head. And as Mat just said, sometimes a little dent even adds character.
But I will say that another fear I had when going bald was if I would've had a lot of moles on the noggin. I have a lot on my stomach. If I would've had a lot on my head, I probably would've grown my hair back. But I don't....thank God!
But yes, there are some attributes that could legitimately keep a man from digging the Sly look.
