Odd things you have shaved
« on: October 31, 2008, 10:05:16 AM »
Not body parts!

I have to wear knee braces during Kung Fu classes to help out the old failing cartlidge and ligaments.  These are stretchy neoprene wraps with velco to  hold them tight.  The grippy hook part sticks direct to the fabric cover of the wrap.  Over time the fabric has become fuzzy and lost its stick.
Last nigh I decided I'd try one more trick to see if I could get by without buying more wraps so I shaved the fuzz off one.
It worked a dream and stayed firmly in place for the whole of my workout.

I'm not sure whether my razor will be any use again.

I have used a razor on a sweater once to get all the fuzzies off.  Works well ...you should try it...becareful though that you dont cut the threads.

Last winter I shaved some hair off my dog so I could have some hair to tie some flies with (yes, I am going to hell).  I didn't shave him clean, i just got him with the shaver with no guard.

You can get fabric shavers designed to shave the fuzzies off. They are usually between 4-10 bucks at your local walmart.

I was an inquisitive young man, and I've shaved about anything you can think of.

A balloon.

Great laugh with the kids. Lather up a ballon and give them an old razor. Task - shave the balloon without bursting it. More fun if you draw a face on balloon first with ballpoint pen.
