Phuzz, pardon me but I just have to say this. You're a good looking guy but that moustache looks ridiculous. It looks like you have on a hairy gag.You want to add to your looks not detract from them. You should really shape it up to a more normal looking style.I don't mean to be offensive and I know some people choose outlandish styles to be different but as an older person I'm just advising you as to how odd this appears. Some people might praise it but only a person who really wants to give helpful advice will tell you the truth.

I have to respectfully disagree with ya, bro. But then, I tend to enjoy people with unique looks, who feel no urge to "fit in with the crowd." They also tend to be very interesting personalities, too  O0

I enjoy people with unique looks too.  Someone may think helpful advice is to advise you to trim it down.  But I have to say that if you like it and it is not causing you harm in terms of your employment, health etc, then go for it!

Nonsense! Why should everybody look "Normal"?? And why if it doesn't look normal
then it looks ridiculous??? thinking this way we all look riduculous cause it's not
normal to shave the head smooth!!

Looks great to me instead, wish that more people had the courage to try
these old style beard/staches and not stick with the "usual" ...

Welcome phuzzphree! compliments about ditching the wig, and also about your
great stache!  O0
Keep it, or shave it, or style it, or experiment with it...do whaterver you like
with it!  ;)

Ah yes, the 'stache.  Some have asked, so here's the scoop.

I've had this thing steady since about 1991 (and off and on before that since I was able to grow one at 16 or 17).  I've grown a beard with it, shaved the beard into a g-t, and have had it just about every shape and size that you can think of. To me it's all about the mustache.  Hair and beards may come and go, but the 'stache is forever.  It has taken on a life of its own, but I've had it so long that it is a part of who I am.  I think if I shaved it, they'd kick me out of work.  ^-^

While I have many ardent fans, I also have as many critics, my mother and my grandmother being a couple of them.  Though I love them dearly, they have yet to dissuade me of it. :@`

Someone 'older' once gave this advice.... "You do what you want to do and don't give a **** about what anyone else says.  After all do you tell them what to do? Do you tell them...how to dress?...."

I think that it is good advice for anyone....   O0

Me too!  Welcome Phuzz... great to have ya.  Just because we love to shave the dome doesn't mean we all have to look like clones - some guys rock the Mr Clean look, some rock the goat, then some have killer mustaches - and then there's guys like me who change their facial hair every other week or so.  To each his own IMO.  The 'stache works for you.

Too true! O0  People just love giving their opinions, but until they offer to pay your debts, sort out the bills, take out your garbage, etc etc, then what right have they to tell you how to live your life? 8)

A late welcome to you, phuzz.

I like the stache' and I say keep it. Do what you want and what you like.
Follow the "older" person's advice, simple but true.

No one should be telling anyone how to look or dress, especially an adult.

Great to hear how you ditched the rug.  Freedom is way better isn't it?.

Enjoy the forum and good to have you with us.    O0
