Shaved in shower just 15 minutes ago, feeling is great and I have no irritation at all,but I think I get a closer and smoother shave when shaving with gel.I'm using Gillete Fusion.
Do you shave in shower, and where do you get better shave?

Try it,that's a good way to break monotony in every-day shaving.Only problem is that water is constantly in my eyes,so I need to close em' up

Did it once, w/ baby oil and Headslick. Pretty good, didn't last as long as a sink shave w/ a spray of alcohol, but pretty good. Time was a little better. I'll do it occasionally in the future, but the sink w/ alcohol is my preference-no stubble during the business day.

I'm a shower shaver. It's just easier for me and less mess. The wife fusses about the sink being a mess if I do that.

We don't need no stinkin' sinks!

The showers is the best place to shave... why? Because I said so that's why!

Yes sir, Sergeant Pate, sir!
I shave both in front of the sink and in the shower. I'm leaning more towards the shower now bc it's just less cleanup and I don't need to look anymore.

i always shave in the shower, all that hot water realy softens the stubble, giving a much closer shave.

I have found shower shaving to be much faster and a heck of a lot easier to clean up after.

Shower shaver here..
Alright boys, i recently implemented a new water saving step to my shower shave. It's a little abnormal, but it conserves water and keeps it hot for the other peeps in your house.
1. turn on shower.. HOT. Make sure your fan is off in the bathroom, so you get some nice steam going.
2. quickly do preparation steps. Wash head and exfoliate. Rinse.
3. Abnormal part: Fill up tupperware container with your hot shower water. Turn off the shower.
Now this is basically a hybrid process between a sink and shower shave. If done right, you're bathroom is a little steamy, so you're not cold when you turn the shower off.
4. After applying your headslick (or what u wish), begin shaving, rinsing your blade in the container after each pass. I just set my one the shower floor.
5. Turn on shower, rinse.. do what you need to.
6. Cold water rinse.
It seems like an added step to have to find a plastic container, but it's working for me. I've recently moved back in with my moms and pops (before i go off and get married), so i need to be a little more conscious of how much hot water i am using. Which is typically a lot.
Obviously for the guys that need a constant stream on the head, this won't work. But hopefully this can help some guys conserve.
