Wearing pink
« on: October 19, 2008, 09:34:35 PM »
The other day I wore a pink polo shirt to work.  It's not the first time I've worn it, but this time I got more comments than any other time.  All the women seemed to like it and all the guys pretty much gave me crap (which was expected).  Then the women were talking with me were wondering how many men do I know wear pink.  I didn't know, but I said it would be a good poll for this site.  So, do you or would you wear pink?

Nope. Won't do it. Not because of any phobia - the color looks horrid on me.

Nope. But not because of any macho bullshit... it just looks bad against my very light complexion.

I do have a salmon polo (deep pink, you could call it) that I really like, but I assume you are talking about baby pink.

I've never worn it because it's not a color that ever interested me...

haha, my girlfriend and I were talking about it all weekend in Niagara Falls...  we went shopping and I was pointing out nice things that she'd look good in, one was a pink sweater.  She so elegantly reminded me that there's no way in hell she'd ever wear that "God awful color" and that if I ever wore it she'd kick my a$$....

Nope, I think that falls into the pink category.  I only say that because I did have a salmon colored shirt once that everyone referred to as pink.

Yep, have a pink dress shirt.  And you are right, the ladies all make very positive comments when I wear it.

Not me.............. Only because I don't like the color. I tend to wear a lot of blacks and greys.............

The last time we came back from Maui we had a wait at LAX and it was pretty cold out. The only jacket my wife had was a hooded pink sweatshirt and she refused to let me wear it because it was pink....lol....anyway....I am not too keen on pink anyway so I just shivered for an hour or so..... :-\

Last time I wore pink was in the 80's when bands like Aha, Tears for Fears and Twisted Sister rocked the airwaves and Zubaz with high tops where everywhere.
