Hi!  New guy here.  I'm 52 and have major MPB.  I mean the top isn't just thin it's gone!  So I've been wearing buzz cuts mostly for the past umpteen years and growing it out to about 1.5" when I feel a long hair mood come on (looks awful).   I've been lurking on this site the past few days and cutting my hair down to a #1.  I've had a difficult time deciding whether I liked it or not.  Sometimes it would look great.  Then a few hours later it would look awful.  Then a few hours later it would look good again.  So yesterday I took my camera and went out into the woods and shot some pictures of myself.  Front. Sides. and even the back sort of. The idea was to get a natural view to judge from.  Anyway I was looking at the pictures and reading this forum and decided to go to a #0.  Got that done and thought "what the heck" took my electric razor and mowed it smooooth!  (My remaining hair is really fine and sparse so it shaves easily with an electric razor).  So now I'm officially a baldie  :D !!  Not sure if I like it or not.  Was surprised how pale the newly exposed scalp is even though my hair has been really short for quite a while.  Anyways tomorrow I'll take pics of the chrome dome and post them along with the #1 buzz and maybe some with longer hair and see what you guys think.  BTW if my sentence structure is weird it's because the comma key is broken on my laptop.  :-\

funny about your comma key.

It'll look even better once the color matches the rest of your noggin. Self tanning lotion works well. I used Neutrogena something or other (use light formula). Then some long driving range sessions in the sun took care of the rest.
