What's up
« on: October 13, 2008, 12:26:41 AM »
Hey, I'm Drew from Wyoming.  My wife and I have two daughters, one 3-years old and the other 15-months old.  I started losing my hair right after high school.  I actually went and got a hair system soon after.  I've decided the hair system is a major pain and am sick of it.  I recently started noticing all the guys with shaved heads where I live & I started diggin the look.  Now I wanna be a sly guy but my wife is not liking the idea.  I'm thinking of just going sly and losing the hair anyway.  Any suggestions on the best razor?  Peace.

Drew, welcome to Sly Bald Guys!

The three most popular razors here are the Mach 3, Fusion, and HeadBlade.

Welcome, Drew!

Thank you for your Intro.

I use a Headblade sport and it works very good for me.

Read all the threads with their advices and get a cool slick dome.  O0

If you wont shock your wife take a clipper first and cut your head in steps til "without guard". From that level shaving is a very little difference.

Good luck.

Hello Drew..I just changed to the HeadBlade Sport this weekend. I can honestly say I don't know how I shaved my head without it. In particular I like the ease of use when shaving the back of my head. You  might want to give it a try.

Welcome Drew.  I am an avid HeadBlader here.  I think if you wife understands how much more comfortable it will make you feel to be sly, she will jump on the bandwagon too.

I had opposition from the wife as well.  I ditched my "system" and shaved after we split up.  She told me recently that I look better bald.

Welcome Drew, I think you're on your way to being sly and smooth.

You may want to go gradual if you have any hair left to buzz. I say try a 1 for now. Then you can go down from there. Opposition from the wife and family is tough.

Get yourself a HeadBlade and some HeadSlick shave cream. I recommend giving yourself plenty of time so you can get used to the feel of the HB. Follow the instructions that come with it. No pressure on the blade end.

There are plenty of tips to be found in the headshaving and products sections of the forum. Read up.
And don't forget to toss that "system" into the trash.
Good luck, and get it smooth!      O0
