So I have another question for all of you headshaving vets (and rookies too)

Do you have ever used soap of somekind to shave your head with?
What kind of soap did / do you use?
How does your soap shaving process go?
Ok, that makes allready 3 of them lol

But anyways thanks of all you input guys!

Carry on.
If your referring to just plain old hand or bath soap, no, I have never used it to shave my head with. I have always used a shave cream, gel or Headslick !!
Yeh, I basically meant bar soaps, shower gels shampoos etc. etc... And how u guys use them to shave if u do?
There are actually shaving soaps that you can buy. Many of them are round and fit nicely ito the bottom of a shaving mug. You lather them up with an old style shaving brush and then smear them on with the brush.
The fell of that brush alone is awesome.
In desperation used run of the mill hotel soap and conditioner to shave with..
really, it worked fine!

You do what you have to in a pinch. I've used Neutrogena soap on my dome when I was out of shaving gel and it worked just fine.
I use Col. Conk's shave soaps for my face but stick with HeadSlick for the dome in the shower. Using a shave brush and soap or a cream requires more effort than I want in the shower.
I've used soap while traveling and it left my scalp dry

. Shampoo is alittle bit better, but only a real shaving cream or gel leaves my dome feelin good.

Yeah man thats pretty much how I do it. Get my head wet in the shower, grab whatever i'm using like body wash or soap and then close my eyes and shave against the grain until all the stubble is gone. I try to remember to put aqua velva on after but I always forget!

Welcome to the Forum Vinny!
There's just something about an Aqua Velva man..... (old slogan from the 70's)
