I think I already know the answer.

I think the flash makes my scalp look more visible.  I know it's thinning, but I don't think it's that bad.  Maybe it is?  Honest opinion, folks.  Is the hair ok, or do I need to go sly?

I don't know what you think the answer will be, but I agree with shaf and I don't think you look bad at all. Going sly has to be your choice and from looking at your photo's I too think you would probably look good shaved. You have to be happy and feel good about yourself. If you are not happy and don't feel good about the way you look right now, then try shaving and see how you look and feel. Make sure you give it at least 30 days to see how you feel but I am guessing you'll probably love it. Keep us informed and welcome to the forum !!   O0

Lighting can definitely be the enemy.  Looks like you are thinning, but it doesn't look terrible yet.  But if you're inclined to give sly a try, consider that your hair is only going to get thinner as time goes by.  You can save yourself the agony of watching it slowly disappear by just going bald now.  The one regret nearly everyone has after shaving his head is not doing it sooner.  Just something to think about.

If the thought of shaving your head clean of any hair is in your head..

you wont be satisfied till you at least shave it bald one time..

if you shave it,it'll grow back!

BTW, the hair isn't that bad...only if YOU think it is! ;)

I was there with the barely visible bangs, they just aren't what they used to be  ;)
I called it sprigs on top of my head, but I still had them. Then they started to fray, even to the point where the comb would stick and I thought, conditioner would help, and realized it only took a penny size drop to
do my whole head. Thats probably the day I said to myself "this is ridiculas that I am going to this much trouble".
Lets just say if you are getting to where I was and need something different, its definately a life changing
experience I would love to be able to do over again and embrace the newness of it all.
Bottom line, I think you would rock the sly look  8)
As Andre said... that thought won't go away till you have tried it.

I don't think your hair looks so bad but I would say that in the future you will have a decision to make. Looking at your photos, I would say that you will look great SLY one day but for now you look OK with your hair.

If you're obsessing over your hair, then give SLY a test run and see how you like it.

Giving it a "trial run" now might not be a bad idea.  Even if you're not ready to commit to fulltime baldness right now, it will at least give you an idea of what it will look like and it won't be as scary when the time comes to do it for real.

You don't need to go sly (unless you want to), your hair looks ok, just a bit receding.

Anyway if you decide to go bald am sure you are going to look great!

Hey SlyHigh, I think you look fine. But you may want to try it just to see how it looks.

You will probably like it, and from there it's just a choice of how you want to keep it.

Your hairline looks very similar to how mine was, and I would say you still have some time before you have to make a decision to shave it all off. But once the thought is in your head.....

Either way it would look good. Give it a shot though to see how you like it.

What do you think SlyHigh?  We're gunna tell you,  "No,  Keep the hair!"  Shave it off.  Be free.  You have a great shaped head.  Sly will go great with that goatee ..
