Not going to vote in the poll, you do not give very good options.  Every choice has a negative aspect to it.

Guess I missed the original pics...  I agree with Tim on the poll.
And I'm a little curious why you came to a bald site asking about a non-sly haircut?  Because most of us are going to suggest he shaves it off  .
For my 2 cents, and just judging by the rear picture, I'd suggest maybe buzzing it with a #1 or 2.  I think the even length all around looks better than the fade.
