First of all, thanks for all the advice and warm wishes. Everyone on this forum seems so genuine and kind. If thats because of the baldness, then everyone should go Sly!
Second: You guys are right. I won't last the week. As long as my one month old son cooperates, and doesn't require my attention, I'm doing it tonight. When I get home I'll try to post a before pic, and I'll definetly post an after pic when the deed is done.

I did it!
As you can see, I've added my new Sly look as my profile pic. I knew I'd love it from the first moment my trimmer hit my head.
I as surprised that my skin wasn't as sensitive as I expected. The only problem I had with my HB was that it did shave well enough, even when I was putting pressure on the blade! By the end of the shave, I was using my disposable razor, going against the grain almost exclusively. Before I went to bed, I was using only water and my razor to touch up some spots I missed. No problems, and my head didn't hurt afterwards at all. So maybe I was born for this.

Welcome Slick and glad everything worked out for you. Just a word of caution. You said your first shave came out great and thats awesome, mine did too. Then I started having razor bump problems. Hopefully this wont happen to you, but i would be carefull how much abuse you give your newly exposed head. I would find and follow and head nuturing routine as soon as possible. Good luck to ya and welcome to the fraternity.

Congrats man
The sly look definately suits you. It took me about 3 or 4 times to get the headblade down to a perfect shave.
Like others said, be careful with the new dome until your skin adjusts to it.
Remember your hair grows at different angles, so you just need to figure that out.
It won't be long till you have a routine down and can shave in about 5 minutes.

even when I was putting pressure on the blade!
Congrats!
Looks very good. But be careful: No pressure on the blades at all!

Looks great man... once you get the urge, it's like something takes over, and suddenly you're slick! Don't give up on the Headblade... once you get the hang of it, you'll be grateful because it's the cheapest, quickest way to go.

Welcome Bro. I recently found that it is ultra important to ex foliate every other shave if not every shave. I just started using a lufa on the dome before shaving and I can't believe the difference it makes in the quality of the shave. Looks like your head was made for shav'in. Looks good on you!

Looks terrific. And you look perfectly at ease with it. You don't look like a newbie at all.
