Root Beer...........

Well guys.... just when you think you've heard every stupid thing you can possibly hear, here comes this little gem....

Straight from Arendtsville Elementary school where my son attends.

When they have parties at the school parents are asked to donate different items for the parties so the school doesn't have to foot the bill.
For these parties they allow soft drinks (sodas)...... any soda EXCEPT root beer.
You see.... root beer has the word "beer" in it soapparently it sets a bad example for the kids. WTF!!!!!!!

Funny thing is....... The principle is a SLY guy. When I met him I thought he was probably cool. Now I find out he's just another pinhead.

Wow Mike, that's totally assnine....what the he** is this world coming to when they make stupid rules like that? I don't know, it makes ya want to just give up ! I guess the stupid politicans, administrators, teachers, etc have nothing better to do then sit around and think these dumb things up....no wonder kids act the way they do when they have leadership examples like these bung holes.....

You should write a "Root Beer" company and let them know about this.  See if they can do something to persuade  the school to think differently.

Are you seriously considering letting your kids stay in a school like that?  That's a symptom of a deeper problem, and the problem is IGNORANCE.  If they fear the kids learning in their school will be unable to make the distinction you should think about schools that can teach, not PREACH.
And I thought loonies were limited to the Bible Belt South!

It is ok if we say the word BEER in here isnt it Tyler?  I just dont want to see an underage kid in here and see the word BEER.  BEER in the form of a soda such as rootBEER shouldnt be a cause of concern.  Now brewed hops and stuff of the like that make BEER i coudl understand..but its root BEER!
