I got this weird wafer bar once when I was a kid, vanilla, fairly large blue and white packaging. I had only ever gotten one but it was definitely the best candy bar I ever had. I wish I could find them.

We have a guy in our neighborhood who hands out those airline-size bottles of Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Cuervo Gold, etc....to the parents who are walking the kids around.

Champ...thats not funny.  I know you are just kidding and joking but that actually happened here in  my neighborhood back around the early 80's  Freako who lived across teh street.  All I remember is the police comnig adn checking out all of our candy bags in the neighborhood and he was arrested on Halloween night. Never did see the guy again after that

Same happened in GA too, my mom said "boys, don't eat any apples if you were given one".
We told her not to worry, we had already threw them at the cars going down the road

Not in the dark on the way home.  Never a problem for me, I don't like apples!  lol

I dont know how California is...but here in the midwest you can be arrested for handing out mary jane...

Around Halloween I always go for candy corn and the pumpkins

I think I'm going to invent "malted milk pumpkins". 

I hate having to wait until Easter for the eggs,  my all-time favorite holiday candy.  Wish they were available at least twice a year.
