If you are freshly shaved maybe it's the salt in your sweat.

ya it does if i just shaved. you know what else stings and is excruciating? cutting your head about 100 times from shaving with a doll blade, and then taking a shower after. the soap BURNS when you touch it to your head. Your dome literally feels like its on fire lol. the 1st time i knicked my head pretty bad then washed my scalp after i almost cried from the pain haha (not really cried.......but you get the point lol)

damn gillette mach 3 turbo. the blades only last about 3 shaves until you have to replace em. theyre soposed to last 6-8

Slight thread jack,,, I have used my Head Blade triple now for 11 shaves, (days, I usually go over it twice)

When I first started shaving I noticed a burn when I went to the beach from the salt water. I have found that it related back to my blade eventually. If its slightly dull you won't notice until you perspire, even if you gel after the shave. I was going about 3 weeks on a blade on my headblade at that time, I dropped to 2 weeks and haven't had the issue since.

Mine does.  Especially right after a shave and I go outside in the heat.
