Why is it so?......
« on: September 30, 2008, 07:19:32 AM »
Why is it when you try to get your kids up on a normal school day, that they huss and fuss?  You basically have to drag their butts out of bed and argue wtih them because they do not want to get motivated in the mornings.

But, give a day like today when there is a 2 hour delay because the fog was really thick and they were up 1/2 hour before their normal time we usually wake them?  Logan was like oh..so we have a little longer to rest up?  I said yes..go back to sleep.  Nope...he was up, fired up the tv, the computer and was outside hollering at the dog.  Kris and I just looked at each other...and she goes, well we might as well just get up.  So we did.

My kids are "pop-up kids". First sign of daylight and they pop up and jump out of bed.

My son in particular is like that........... a chip off the old Dad.........I'm a horrible sleeper.

Thats how it always works. Like on weekends they are always up bright and early, alot of the time they get up at around 6 as I am getting ready for work. Then on weekdays they are dead tired and would sleep in til noon.

I'm a good, sound sleeper.  I understand about the kids though.  Can't get 'em up for nothing during the week, but come Saturday morning....up like a shot.  I'm thankful they're old enough now to get their own cereal or pop-tarts now.
