Okay.... I know there will be some snickers on here....BUT....
I'm 48 years old and in pretty good shape for my age. The big thing I've noticed disappearing is my flexibility.
So I read up on Yoga. Not the humming at the spirits part, but the actual exercises. I think I'm going to give it a good strong try.
Does anybody have any yoga experience? And if you do I'd like to hear your thoughts about it.
If you're worried about posting up in the thread..... just PM me (but try to be a real man and post in the thread for others to see
). I will guarantee your anonimity....

Mike, we just got the balance board for our wii. It has some yoga exercises as part of the package. I've really enjoyed them and some are really tough. I'd love to join a class. Go for it.

I don't know if they have it in your area or not, but you might also look into Tai Chi. It's a very gentle, super low impact exercise which does help with muscle tone and flexibility as well. Not that I'm knocking Yoga at all, I've just never done much of the exercise portion of yoga - However - What I've seen on TV a time or 2 looks like some of those yoga exercises can be pretty dang tough

I've tried Yoga a couple of times... but I never really could get into it. I've never been too flexible. I know all sorts of people who do it regularly and love it.
I've been told I should give Tai Chi a try.
I just need to exercise .....period.
I'm with you on that. I've had weak joints since childhood and have to be careful with which exercises I choose to do.
It's so much easier to be lazy...

Tai Chi is a great way to loosen up and shape up without putting too much demand on your joints.

I think I am gonna start a Yoga fitness show. We could have all the Sly Bro's in it. What you say boys? We could all wear red and whites.
