Moving on...

No, not from this forum, or even slydom...
At the ripe old age of 51 (well, next month) I'm ditching a cushy position at The Bank and have accepted a position at yet another startup.
What am I thinking!!!
The company has rules-based, policy-driven automation products for high-performance data centers -- a big area these days with the push towards so-called "cloud computing"-- and they detest their user interface. So they want me to come in, delete the works, and start from scratch.
I gonna be mighty busy.
I feel badly because I really like my local team and my manager, but I just can't deal with working for the soul-sucking and borderline evil Bank anymore.
Wish me luck!
(And yes, I went into my interviews confident and gleemingly sly!)

Good luck Bear. My last 3 jobs have been start-ups. Yeah you'll be busy but it sounds like you'll make a difference.
Job satisfaction AND you get paid too!?!? Awesome!

Congratulations on the new job, Bear. Startups are alot of fun, as long as they stay in business. I worked for an internet startup, as a contractor, and they went belly-up during the .com bust. It was fun while it lasted, though ...
Glad to hear the sly interview went well. As a contractor, I do alot of interviewing and haven't done my first sly one yet.
