hello fellow chrome domes: i just got back from the grocery store. on the list was peanut butter... we usually eat jif creamy peanut butter. i was wondering what type of peanut butter & brand everyone eats. is it jif, skippy, peter pan, or others? creamy? crunchy? on a side note... when was the last time U ate a good PB& J sandwich & do U cut the edges off or leave it on. btw... it was approximately 2 weeks ago when i ate a good PB&J sandwich with the edges on. so... what's your peanut butter story?

I just wanted to give you some credit for always coming up with fresh ideas for threads.

Oh... I ate PB sandwiches almost every day last week, creamy Jif. Been a while since I've had a good old PB&J though, might have to do that soon.

I actually had peanut butter on a slice of toast this morning.
We usually get skippy creamy, but I'm not really particular. Though, I can recall a few favorites...
1. Adams All Natural. We had that a lot as a kid, not certain it's even made anymore.
2. Planters Chunky. Yes, Planters! They used to make a peanut butter that was out of this world.
Actually, I just checked, Adams is still made

Sorry... I leave the edges on but it's the first thing I eat... the center is then like a reward

Peter Pan Creamy or Jif Creamy. ALways leave the crust on...thats the best part.
OK now Mel....lets take it one step further....when you have the worlds most ultimate PB&J sandwich...what do you chase it with??? Me gotta have that tall cold glass of MOO MOO JUICE.
OK...another idea...damn you are good Mel....typically...2 slices of bread , pb and jelly slapped together...but....BUT....is there any alternatives? I sometimes like to take plain Pringles and put about 4 or 5 of them single layered and smash em between ....now right there BOYS AND GIRLS...is a Damn Good PB&J
Oh and yes....buuckkweet pointed something out too.....Jam or Jelly? We always use Grape Jam....easier to spread...
Amazing how much you can talk about PB&J

Always eat Jif Creamy with Welch's grape jelly.....Tall glass of milk is good also but I like a side of either potato or macroni salad with my sandwiches....always have ...and also never cut the crust off....the kids were the only ones who insisted on that....!!
