I saw this video a while back and I have to say it was rather interesting. The thing that bothers me though is, the person they use in the video has ZERO hair before he even shaves., or so it appears that way. It really looks like theres no hair already, it looks like someone already went AGAINST the grain earlier, rather than following the instructions of going with the grain. I don't mean to sound whiny or like I'm trying to bash them, it just always seems that when they do headshaving adds like that the person almost always has zero shadow let alone hair to begin with.
Anybody else notice that?
From watching the video it appears to me as though the guy has MPB, and that would account for the apperance of no hair on the top of his head. You can see he has more of a hairline on the side of his head when he shaves around his ears. So why do they use people with MPB when they make their ads? who knows...I guess depending on the age of the video, it use to be the majority of head shavers had MPB, which is not true anymore.....JMO
The same reason that the ad comapanies use people with brilliantly white teeth to try and sell tooth whitening products/services and young beautiful people to try and sell anti-wrinkle, anti-aging products/services.
Sorry for the cynicism
Yeah, like those 'because you're worth it' ads where all the women put on big smiles and say they're seventy five and look twenty when really they ARE twenty and that's why they look twenty!! They never show a real seventy five year old. Also, slimming products are never advertised by fat people who need to slim, but my women who look like they've never even needed to diet in their lives!
I think its a way for them to ensure that if they do mess up during the shooting of the video, that they still end up with a good looking shave............It's all smoke and mirrors.......
