DD here.  Love it.  I only work three nights a week and the checks come out on day I don't work.
I'm not driving 40 miles one way just to pick up a check.

What is this "bank" of which you speak ?   Seriously .. neither my parents nor grandmother will use an ATM.   My grandmother will only go through the drive-thru which has a teller window.  She does not trust the tube to carry her money to the teller.

Don't think checks have even been an option for years... problem is, because I have DD, I never even bother printing a 'paystub' online through work to have a record.
