Estrogene Ocean

HELP....I'm adrift in an Estrogen Ocean.  I think I am going mad......I live with my Girlfriend and her 2 teenage daughters, 4 female cats and 2 dogs.......everywhere I look I see some shade of pink or a pastel color.  I can never use my own landline phone for the girls are always on it.  Yes I have a cellphone but no reception in the area I live in. Our house is surrounded by hills on all sides.  Some days I want to go out and shoot, cut, saw, chop, rip apart and rebuild, hammer, cuss,  scratch the boys, build a fire with 2 sticks and run naked around it.  I am beginning to feel guilty because I long for and encourage all the girls to get out of the house and go to town for hours on end so I can be alone and do what ever the hell I want.  Who ever said that the man was the MASTER  of his house lived alone.


DO I NEED PROFESSIONAL HELP?

I hear ya... or used to anyway.

Once you get used to it, you realize just how wonderful they are and how lucky you are they are in your life. I now have a son as well so the stats are more even... although we're still outnumbered.

Lucky for me my wife likes it when I do guy stuff (buy guns, drive, fix things around the house, work on the vehicles, mow, etc.).

Come to terms with the fact that you will never win and your life will be much easier

hey slyin.....how old are the daughters?  My 14 year old is about to drive us nuts.  Anyone have any suggestions on how to get her to have a respectful attitude.  I know they are just teenagers and parents just do not understand......according to her....but there has to be something to make it more bearable....isnt there?  I hope anyways.

Hey slyinglide, I do feel your pain Bro.  Whenever Mrs. BW's uppity girlfriends try to turn my front porch into an estrogen pit, I simply turn loose our ankle biter.  He glues himself to one of their legs, and lets them know how glad he is to see them!  The girlfriends don't hang out long after that.  I don't call him "The Humpster" for nothing!

14 and 16 years old and can already drive a man NUTZ..........I feel sorry for their boyfriend/husbands

Tim....been there done that....it's a hard time for parents and we all go through it.....I know that some day she will look back on her behavior and tell you how sorry she was for acting the way she acted and the things she said....maybe in some sort of way....knowing that.....will make it more bearable.....I wish I had a magic formula for you bro.....but your not alone in your misery....but it will get better.....believe me.....good luck.....

Don't feel guilty but encourage their long shopping trips.

Take advantage as much as you can.

Thanks Brkeatr..I am sure many parents have went thru what we are going thru.  Just grant me the strength to make it thru it.
