Walk about three miles at lunch every day. A great stress releiver
StumpyDave:
I find it mind-numbingly boring, but I'm currently running a couple of miles every morning before breakfast.
Knee and ankle injuries occasionally flare up and then I'll try to get in a few longer bicycle rides in the week instead.
I also walk a bit. The dog gets a mile morning and evening and I generally walk the mile into the office and home.

I've been starting HIIT also. Though, I'm hoping to get my stamina up so that I can start running longer distances.

It's been a while...but I would start out 1 min. and 1 min. ...... then move up to 1.5 min. and 1 min. .... then 2 min. / 1 min. .... then 2.5 / 1 min. and so on ... and so on
I'm a HUGE fan of progressive intensity programs.
ChallengeMe:
I took up running back in 1980, when I was working full time and going to college at night, I knew I needed to get some exercise. We lived across the street from a large park with several miles of trails and some good hills. I was running 5 miles a day every day for a few years. After graduating and moving I cut back but never quit altogether.
These days my exercise program includes weight training, running, and kayaking; I always try to keep my exercise fun and interesting. My running usually is 2-3 miles; the first mile running the second HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training), sprinting 30 seconds, walking 30 seconds.
