well, i have heard about the 30 day rule before, but the problem is i am going to a wedding on saturday and i have been asked to have hair.

Well, you're pretty much going to be bald for the wedding.  You can grow back some stubble over the next week, but trust me, almost everyone there will consider your head to be "shaved" even with a week's worth of stubble.  So if you're going to be bald in everyone's mind, don't you think you might as well be bald for real?   ;)

....but school and all of the hairy @$$e$ that like to torment other, but i think if i stay bald, it will never end, all of the rude remarks, asking if i have cancer, all of it, will never end

No, that's where you're wrong.  It will end, and quicker than you think, once people realize that you're planning to keep your head shaved long-term.  You'll get some wisecracks in the beginning, to be sure but as long as you laugh them off and don't give any indication that it bothers you, people will move on and the wisecracks will stop.

Look at it this way:  if you really to have a shaved head, it's worth putting up with some smart-ass remarks for a couple of days because it gets you to where you want to be in the end.  Nothing will do more for your confidence than knowing you had the gumption to stick to what you wanted, and were willing to tolerate whatever crap came your way as a result of it.  When the comments stop and you're still bald, it will be a huge ego boost.

At least give it a try.  If I'm wrong and it's just unbearable after a couple of weeks, you can always grow it back then.  But you'll feel better for having confronted your fears, then you will if you cave before you even get started.  At 17, I don't think it will be as bad as you think.  If you were in junior high, that's when teasing can be unmerciful, but by your age people are usually more into themselves anyway, having fun, getting ready for college, etc.

Are your parents OK with you keeping a shaved head?  Does your school have any rules against it?

OK, since you admitted your only 14 , I personally don't feel good about giving you any advice since your parents may be giving you some entirely different advice....I just don't feel comfortable.....that's just me......good luck to you.

TTSS-

I know you wanted advice but take it from a 49 year old city boy.... don't lie about anything in life...... because it usually comes to exactly what has happened here. Sooner or later you have to ante up.

A better way to approach the situation would have been to contact Tyler or one of the other mods when you first visited the site, explained your situation, and worked with them to allow you on....even if on a temporary basis.

Please don't take offense at this next statement.... By the tone of some of your topics I had a strong suspicion that you were very young.

We are a tight community here and I can't and won't speak for anyone else but I personally detest liars. You asked not to be banned but you never apologized for your lie/deception.  Tsk....tsk....
